Bernhard is a Bing bear from 1915 known as a sentry bear with brown mohair, clear and black glass eyes with brown painted backs, very pronounced muzzle, remains of black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs, seam down back of leg with felt pads, the feet pads coming to a point at the back, hump and inoperative growler —12 1/2in. (31.5cm.) high (very worn and balding, holes to pads and front seam re-sewn
