’Colonel’ a Steiff 1920s teddy bear with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump, inoperative growler and FF underscored button —16in. (40.5cm.) high (eyes probably replacing glass, some wear and general thinning, small hole to top of muzzle, nose stitching replaced, three pads patched

This teddy has seen two world wars and is a special bear.
