z(1910) Bing Tripple Trapple Daschund Showcased by Valerie Gargus
This is a very early Tripple Trapple Bear circa 1910 called Dacshund |
He still goes along |
He is rare and hard to find. |
He has glass eyes. |
His nose is good |
He is quite large at 11 inches long and 8 inches high. |
He is dark brown wool felt. |
He is stuffed with straw. |
He is intact |
He has lots of character. One of the most fabulous pieces of social history I have ever seen. Can you imagine a child in 1908-10, before the First World War, who would be lucky enough to have a moving toy bear like this? Amazing!
