Sold (1910) Steiff Muscles £250

Muscles is a1910 antique straw stuffed mohair bear with shoe button eyes who is just under 13" long.  He has disc jointed arms and legs, a narrow snout, wool felt pads with five claws, a floss mouth, and  horizontally stitched nose.  His general look, shape, and long, narrow feet lead me to believe he is a Steiff, but he has no ID.  He is well worn, with many bare spots and upper pads in very poor condition.  His ears have been reattached, at least at the back, and his head, which should be articulated, is tacked in place, so does not turn.  There is a scratch in his right eye.  In spite of his imperfections he is still loveable and adorable!
