Fernley is a 1920s teddy bear with golden mohair, clear and black glass eyes with remains of brown painted backs, large pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, slight hump and inoperative squeaker —15in. (38cm.) high (general wear and thinning, right leg attached slightly wonky and pads recovered)
