Sold (1920) Omega. Little Chap £125

Charming rare to find 12" antique  teddy bear, probably made by British United Toy Manufacturing Co. 'Omega', dating from 1920s -1930s, made of golden mohair. This Little Chap feels to be  stuffed with wood-wool and kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head, he is fully jointed, has got original dark orange and black glass eyes, and black vertically stitched nose with nostrils, with inverted Y shape mouth stitching, and original felt pads with some general wear and repairs, the right paw pad is recovered, there is no claw stitching. He has got inoperative squeaker in his tummy.
