’Grace’ an early Merrythought teddy bear circa 1930, with light golden mohair, replaced orange and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth, feet claws and webbed hand claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with cloth pads, inoperative squeaker and woven label ‘Made in England by Merrythought Ltd’ —13in. (33cm.) high (bald right cheek, other small bald spots,general wear and thinning, label dirty)
