z(1964) Dean's Hug-me. Josie Rockett.
Showcased by Josie Rockett.
This lovely boy is a Dean's Hug-me bear made in 1964 only. He is modelled as a real bear and is posed on all fours. He is made from a mixture of wool and artificial plush. He has orange plastic safety eyes and a traditional black stitched nose and mouth. He was most likely made to appeal to very young children. He is very soft stuffed, possibly with foam? He is so incredibly squishy and cuddly! No wonder he got the name Hug-me bear! He is such a lovely teddy, I adore his big ears and long neck, he really is a character! He still has his Childsplay label sewn into the inside of his right leg.
