Big Edward is a very rare Deans "Edward" bear made in 1938/1939 only.He measures a huge 26 inches tall is filled with a mixture of wood wool and kapok and has huge amber glass eyes. He has unusual nose stitching with raised outer stitches, much like Handy Pandy who was made around the same time. His most unusual feature is his wonderful webbed claw stitching! He has the green sew in label used between 1937 and 1939 and has tan velveteen pads. He also gives a faint growl when you give him a cuddle!
