Knickerbocker (1925-30) Emma. The Kissable Muzzle

KNICKERBOCKER (1925-30) “EMMA” 15" KNICKERBOCKER TEDDY BEAR ULTRA RARE ANTIQUE c.1925-30

Emma is a rare, antique 1920s Knickerbocker Teddy Bear. She is 15" tall, fully jointed, has brown tipped long mohair with a hump back. Her limbs are straw stuffed and her head is hard stuffed while her body is excelsior. Her horizontal nose stitching appears to have been repaired. She has sweet cupped ears and new amber glass eyes.She has all original felt paw pads in very good condition. Her upper right paw pad has three tiny indentations that go into a layer of the felt but do not go through the fabric. Although her squeaker is non-working and her mohair is thinning throughout, Emma, like her big sister Emily (also showcased here at the museum), remains as adorable and beautiful as ever.
