Sold Pintel (1940) Pug

SOLD Pug is a Pintel with half his original nose left. He is a stunning bear. He is 14" tall, dating to circa 1940's and in lovely original condition.This super bear is four ways jointed with all his joints working smoothly and he is firmly wood wool stuffed. He is in overall excellent and original condition and has retained all of his original features including his  mouth stitching and painted back glass eyes. He has a very good covering of his bright  mohair with very slight overall thinning and and a couple of small bare patches but he still retains a good 98% coverage. His cloth pads are original with no holes or damage. There have been some similar Pintel bears sold at Christies auction house over the last ten-fifteen years. He is a really fine character bear and rare to find in such nice condition.
