z(1918-20) Red. Showcased by Josie Rockett

This is Red, he is a very rare and extremely well loved red Chad Valley bear. He is is wood wool filled which dates him to 1920 or earlier. He has lost much of his mohair but what remains is such a beautiful vibrant colour. His pads are long ago recovered and he has been given replacement boot button eyes that suit him well. He has remains of his nose and has lost his mouth stitching, he also has hints of his claws remaining. He could be given lots of restoration but I have fallen in love with him just as he is, you can tell he was somebodies best friend once upon a time. He measures 13 inches tall and has a clunky non working tilt growler in his tummy. Such a lovely boy.
